AMG Privacy Policy

Our updated privacy policy will be in effect starting May 25, 2018. This reflects compliance to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of the European Union (EU), as well as necessary changes.

For the purposes of this policy, AstPro Media Group (AMG) defines the term ‘User’ as a person or an entity (not robots, seriously), with an account registered on any of our websites, while ‘Visitor’ is an individual that visits our website without an account. ‘Service’ & ‘Platform’ refers to our websites (i.e. hallyulife.com, revealedmag.com) and its sub-sites/domains. ‘Company’ or ‘AMG’ should refer to AstPro Media Group.

Introduction

AstPro Media Group (AMG) owns and operates multiple web platforms over the internet. These include hallyulife.com and its subdomains (i.e. kr.hallyulife.com), revealedmag.com and astpro.media (this website).

While most websites are just providing articles and information, some parts of the service/platform do require an account, such as private messaging, joining discussions, commenting on a specific post, shopping, and so on.


Collection, Processing and Use of Information

The following sections cover the specifics of information collection and use between a ‘visitor’ and ‘user’ of AMG’s platforms.

Website Visitor

A ‘Visitor’ is an individual that visits our website without an account. If you don’t have any account on our platforms, this section is relevant to you.

During the registration process, users might provide information such as e-mail address, username and/or real names and credit card numbers (for purchases/payments made on shop), passwords and other optional data which is used by AMG to identify the User and/or provide them with tailored support, services, subscription and newsletters, for example.

A ‘User’ can at any time, access and edit, update or delete any of their contact details just by logging in to the platform where their account exists. By default, an account created on any of our platforms aren’t indexed and crawled by search engines (user-changeable preference).

Processing of Personal Data

Our purpose of processing personal data is to improve our platforms by analyzing how visitors use and/or navigate our website(s).

We might share such information, with your consent to these terms, if necessary, to third-party services that we hereby authorize in order to provide a requested service or to further analyze a Visitor’s behavior on our website(s).

Processing of User Data in the European Economic Area (EEA)

For Users of our platforms located within the European region, all processing of personally identifiable information should be in accordance to the rules and regulations set by the new EU Regulations 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 with regards to the protection of natural persons in the processing of any personal data known as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

We process personal data both as a Processor and as a Controller, as defined in the Directive and the GDPR. As an user of any of our platform/websites, you (User) entered an agreement as outlined in the ‘Collection of User Data’ section. We ensure that all hosting of the said data is in accordance with the said regulation.

Processing of User Data in Other Regions

AMG adopts modern and reasonable practices and safeguards when it comes to data processing and hosting, which we guarantee against any accidental, unauthorized or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, disclosure, access and/or misuse by any person no other than AMG team or its authorized third-party service providers. AMG should promptly notify the User in the discovery or an event of any unauthorized use and access of the said user’s data.

AMG also adheres to any state or federal laws governing the protection and use of any personal information and data, as well as regularly updating its infrastructure to ensure the safety of the User’s data.


Cookies

AMG websites deploys a small text file on every visitors & users’ computer which is called ‘Cookies’, that is used to collect standard Internet log information with regards to visitors’ activity in an anonymous form. We gather information such as page views, number of visitors and visits, geographical location data, length of time spent on the site, which page/site the visitor have come from or links clicked or viewed inside the website(s). As stated before, a ‘User’ at any time, can request for its data to be deleted, or AMG itself, can terminate a User’s access to the platforms and delete its data permanently as required by applicable law.

By default, we assume that all Visitors and Users of any of our platforms have carefully read this policy, as well as our terms of service and other policies embodied herein, and have agreed to its contents. If you do not agree to any of the provisions stated on this policy, you should not continue to use any of our platforms.

Third Party Services and Policies

AMG uses third-party services on its websites to serve some services to AMG or to the visitors and users of its platforms, such as Google Analytics to help analyze how users use our websites. They use cookies, which are usually different from the cookies we place onto your computer, and any data collected from that cookie would be translated to Google. The information collected will be available only to Google and to us in an anonymous form and will be only used to make and compile statistical reports on website activity for our websites.

By default, any third-party services and offerings linked to or from our websites have their own privacy policies that can be viewed by clicking on the corresponding links within the respective site. Since we don’t have control over the policies or practices of participating merchants and other third parties, we are not responsible for the privacy practices or contents of those sites. Advertisements

We use Google AdSense (DoubleClick for Publishers), PropellerAds and Media.net to serve ads based on your prior visit to our website.

These add-in scripts are guaranteed to be harm-free as the only function they do is to serve ads. We review any code that we place on our websites/platforms to make sure the site is secure and is free of harmful scripts.

Other than the purpose of serving ads, these scripts don’t collect any user’s information regarding your visit.
